Del Met Federal Credit Union will change its name to PrimeTrust Financial Federal Credit Union (otherwise known as PrimeTrust FCU or PTFCU).

We believe this partnership with PTFCU and the long-term benefits to our membership and our staff puts us in the best position to serve you in the future, with access to more products and services, better rates, enhanced features, and the same local service you know and trust!

Yes! We will continue to operate out of the same office, with the same hours, and the same staff you know and trust.

Continue to look for communications from us regarding the merger process. We will be in touch through emails, letters, and digital communications as we move forward with the regulatory and member approval process and work towards the May 1st effective date. We want to ensure you have all the information and resources you need. In the meantime, look forward to all of the great new features and products you will have at your fingertips as a member! You can check out PTFCU’s service offerings on their website at primetrustcu.com.

We will keep you informed throughout the merger process through emails, letters, and digital communications which will be dedicated to the merger and information about the merger. And always feel free to reach out to us and ask.

Yes, the routing number will eventually change late summer 2026. However, your transactions will continue to process normally, and we will provide you with instructions on when to notify third parties you have authorized to debit or credit your account(s).

Yes! Your existing debit card is expected to work without any interruption until you receive your new card next year. In late-summer 2026 you will be issued a new PTFCU debit card.

Yes! Your existing checks will continue to be accepted and will clear after the effective date of the merger. Late-summer 2026 we will also be issuing you a box of new checks free of charge with the PTFCU routing number and your new account number (if applicable) to replace your old checks.

While your automatic transfers and deposits should post to your account without interruption for after the effective date of the merger. When we go through account conversion (Late-Summer 2026) we will recommend you give the new routing number and your new account number (if applicable) to any person or company who automatically debits or credits your checking or savings account immediately following the conversion. Bill Pay information will also transfer over, but we do not have final verification on that at this time. We will be providing you with all of the information and instructions necessary to make these changes when the appropriate time comes.

On the effective date of the merger your online banking will remain the same until the conversion in Late-Summer 2026. After the transition, you will be guided to the 5-star PrimeTrust Online and Mobile platform. You will be able to access your account from any up to date/current browser or the supported versions of the

PTFCU application from your mobile device app store. This platform will allow mobile deposit of checks, bill pay, account to account transfers, and many more features! (Subject to the terms and conditions for those services).

 

 Important Info About New PrimeTrust Visa® Credit Cards for Del Met Members

 

Weekend Transition & Action Required

  • New PrimeTrust Visa® Card: Cards have been mailed for this weekend's switchover. If you have not received yours, please contact us. Once activated, your old Del Met card will be deactivated within 10 days.

  • Easy Registration: Register your new card via online banking, the mobile app, our website, in-branch, or by call/text. (Note: The Del Met online payment portal will close prior to this weekend's switchover.)

  • Auto-Payments & Subscriptions: Scheduled card payments and recurring merchant charges (streaming, utilities, etc.) will not transfer automatically. Update these with your new card details after registering to avoid missed payments.

Important Notes & Expectations

  • No Rate or Fee Changes: Your interest rates, fees, and billing dates stay the same.

  • Account Cycle & Statements: You’ll receive a final Del Met billing statement, and your first PrimeTrust statement will arrive shortly after.

  • Digital Access: Old login credentials will not carry over. Please enroll in PrimeTrust online banking to set up your new digital access.

  • Locked Cards: Please unlock any manually locked Del Met cards before this weekend to prevent locks from transferring over.

  • Closed Accounts & Card Support: Closed cards with remaining balances cannot register online and must be paid in-branch or by phone. Lost/stolen card support is now handled directly by PrimeTrust.

 Important Info About New PrimeTrust Visa® Debit Cards for Del Met Members

Starting mid-August, your new PrimeTrust Visa® debit card will be sent in the mail (please allow 7–10 business days for delivery). Your new card will be ready to use on Monday, August 31. Please activate it and set your PIN as soon as it arrives so you're ready to go!

 

Quick Setup & Activation

  • Call to Activate & Set PIN: Follow the activation instructions on the sticker attached to your new card to activate it and set your PIN.
  • Keep Your Address Updated: If you’ve moved recently, please make sure your address, phone number, and email are up to date with us to prevent any delivery delays.

 

What You Need to Know

  • Transition Timeline: You can start using your new PrimeTrust debit card on Monday, August 31. Your old Del Met debit card will remain active through August 31 to ensure you have plenty of time to switch.
  • Weekend Purchases (Aug 28–30): Your Del Met card will continue to work over conversion weekend, but you may experience temporary limit restrictions on larger purchases. We recommend making any essential purchases or withdrawals prior to August 28.
  • Online & Mobile Banking: Your old Del Met FCU online login won't transfer over. Simply set up a new registration in PrimeTrust online banking to manage your account and view transactions.
  • Update Recurring Payments: Any subscriptions or automatic payments tied directly to your old Del Met FCU debit card number will stop working after August 31. Be sure to update those merchants with your new card details.
