Yohler Scholarship
This scholarship was created in memory of PrimeTrust’s longest serving volunteer, Mr. William H. (Bill) Yohler. Mr. Yohler began his credit union volunteerism in 1944 when he was asked to serve on the credit committee for Warner Gear Credit Union (which became WGE and is now PrimeTrust).
In 1948, he was elected to the Board of Directors and remained active as Treasurer and Director until he passed away September 15, 2001. Bill had also been a Director for the Indiana Credit Union league since 1959, as well as serving on the national level as a CUNA National Director for more than 30 years.
In addition to his tireless effort and volunteer contributions to the credit union movement, he was active in various civic and social organizations.
To honor Bill’s dedication to others, we will present an annual renewable scholarship. This packet contains the Application, Eligibility Requirements, as well as Guidelines for your recommendation letters. You may download the entire packet here.
Granny Greenback Kids Club
You can't start too early when teaching kids to be financially responsible. In fact you might be surprised how quickly they become aware of material things. As soon as children turn on a TV, or go to school they become increasingly aware of the world around them. They want stuff, like toys and clothes that they see advertised or that their friends have. And as someone who will be guiding a child, you want your kids to fit in, without spoiling them.
