Member Eligibility - Community Charter

Effective February 22, 2011, PrimeTrust Financial, formerly WGE Credit Union, is a community chartered credit union. This means people and businesses no longer have to belong to a Select Employee Group (SEG) to qualify for membership. 

Becoming a member of PrimeTrust Financial is easy! Anyone who lives, works, worships, or goes to school in Delaware County, Indiana or has an immediate family member that belongs to PrimeTrust Financial, is eligible for membership. A simple membership application and an initial deposit of $5.00 into a regular share account activates your membership. This regular share account acts like any savings account. You may make deposits and withdrawals when you wish as long as your balance does not drop below the $5.00 initial deposit.

At PrimeTrust Financial, "once a member, always a member" is our philosophy; even if your employment changes or you relocate to another state. When you are a member of PrimeTrust Financial, you are one of the owners. You have the power to elect the Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting in April. Being an owner has many more privileges than being just a customer. Since the credit union is a not-for-profit financial institution, we rely on the deposits of our members to loan to our members. Simply come into any of PrimeTrust Financial's three convenient locations with a government issued ID, such as a driver's license, an initial deposit of $5.00 into a regular share account, and verification of your personal information, such as address and phone, to begin your membership.
